Gloomhaven’s successful launch on PC in 2021 will be followed by a console launch, including Xbox, next year, thanks to a partnership between Asmodee Digital and Saber Interactive. Originally developed by Flaming Fowl Studios, Gloomhaven will now be in the hands of the team at Saber Interactive as they work to port the game to console. It’s already a very successful board game, and its launch on PC and MAC in October 2021 has already seen sales surpass 500,000 copies, so it hardly comes as a surprise that more has been planned for the title. Gloomhaven console announcement trailerGloomhaven is a tactical RPG set within a dark medieval fantasy universe and mixes card-based strategy with dungeon-crawling gameplay. Playing as one of 17 characters and with more than 1,000 abilities, you and/or a co-op buddy lead a band of mercenaries on a quest for riches, by risking life and limb as swords for hire.
