The free Xbox Series X|S upgrade of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt now has a new release window. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the current-gen versions of The Witcher 3 will now launch sometime in Q4 2022. The Xbox Series X|S version of The Witcher 3, which is free to all who own an Xbox One copy of the game, was originally down to launch in 2021, but was delayed multiple times, with the most-recent delay postponing the game “until further notice.”CD Projekt Red has now announced that the Xbox Series X|S upgrade is planned to release in Q4 of this year. Hopefully, it will make its release window this time around. With the last delay, CD Projekt announced it was pulling the remaining development of the game in-house. Saber Interactive was leading the charge on the port, but that is now no longer the case.
