The Arma franchise has finally made its way to consoles in the form of Arma Reforger. The timed Xbox exclusive is available to play now on Xbox Series X|S as part of the Game Preview program.Following a leak that pretty much detailed everything about the game, Arma Reforger was announced for PC and Xbox Series X|S (there is no Xbox One version) during a special live stream. For the first time ever, console players can now jump into the realistic multiplayer game and see what it’s all about. Arma Reforger Enfusion showcase trailerArma Reforger is set during the Cold War and gives players a huge 52 km-square map to tear up. It features two multiplayer game modes: Conflict, which has players working together to capture strategic points located across the map from the enemy, and Games Master, which Bohemia Interactive says “is a real-time scenario editor” where “one or more curators take on the role of Game Master, creating responsive combat encounters for other players.”Arma Reforger has launched on Xbox Series X|S in Game Preview, so don’t go in expecting a fully-polished experience or achievements, for that matter. Bohemia Interactive says there is no official date for when the game will release out of Game Preview, but it is “pledging continued support for the title, even as their teams shift their focus and resources towards Arma 4.” For those unsure if the game is for them, there is currently a six-hour free trial available, so you can check it out before making a purchase.Arma Reforger (Game Preview) is available on Xbox Series X|S now.
