Geoff Keighley has confirmed that this year’s Summer Game Fest event will take place on Thursday, June 9th at 11am PT/2pm ET/6pm BST, and promises “huge new game announcements, world premieres, special guests, and much more.” The Summer Game Fest live event will immediately be followed by the indie showcase, Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition, which is being co-produced by Double Fine Productions and iam8bit. Keighley also announced a partnership with IMAX for both Summer Game Fest and December’s The Game Awards, so if you want to watch all of the big reveals in select IMAX theatres.Of course, if you don’t fancy having a massive Geoff Keighley staring you down in a theatre, you’ll also be able to watch Summer Game Fest on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook.
