Focus Entertainment has announced that it has partnered with developer The Parasight to publish Blacktail, a “first-person surreal action-adventure game, where the story of Baba Yaga comes to life.”Developing unsettling games that focus on dark legends and fairy tales is what the team at Polish studio The Parasight enjoy developing the most, and it looks like Focus Entertainment also wants to be part of the action, by partnering to publish Blacktail.Focus Entertainment and The Parasight partnership for Blacktail“Bringing worlds and stories to life, offering the possibility of shaping them and altering their outcomes: it is this blend of strong narrative direction and player freedom that immediately convinced us to work with The Parasight team,” Focus Entertainment’s Yves Le Yaouanq says. “The Parasight team accompanies players to the edge of Blacktail, where they will live an adventure that swings between eerie and wondrous, exciting and thrilling: an experience that resonates perfectly with our ambitions at Focus.”Blacktail doesn’t have a release date just yet, but we’re hoping it’s not too far off because the adventure is shaping up to be an exciting one. In the press release that announced the partnership, Focus Entertainment’s Yves Le Yaouanq tells us that Blacktail’s protagonist will place their fate in your hands, and it’ll be your moral choices and actions that determine whether it’s a “sad tale or tragic fable.” “We recognize video games as a full-fledged medium, capable of delivering memorable adventures, crowned with timeless messages.
