FRIBOURG, SWITZERLAND- The regulatory consulting company UASolutions is joining Drone Logistics Ecosystem to collaborate with its members.
UASolutions supports companies in the advanced air mobility industry to obtain the authorization to fly from the national civil aviation authority.
Company’s founder Nathanel Apter has a long experience as a certification consultant and has been working as a Special Advisor for the uncrewed systems for the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). At the FOCA, he established the policies and processes underlying the Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) Evaluation.
He has contributed to elaborating regulatory policies for drones in the context of the Specific Operational Risk Assessment in Europe for example for the handling of dangerous goods, drone swarms, occurrence reporting, ground risk evaluation, change management and many other regulatory topics. He has managed the authorization process of many drone companies intending to fly beyond visual line of sight, UAS swarms or other complex operations.
With UASolutions, he now supports businesses that intend to bring drones on the market by providing consultancy for the EASA Design Verification process and for businesses that intend to perform daily operations by providing Specific Operations Risk Assessment, Light UAS Operator Certificate, oversight and accident investigation consultancy.
Mr Nathanel Apter, CEO of UASOLUTIONS, said “For UASolutions, it is paramount to join the Drone Logistics Ecosystem to perform our mission, which consists in democratising the access to the skies and enabling the drones added value”
Drone Logistics Ecosystem™
Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE) is a free of charge, global multidisciplinary “quadruple helix” network of Companies, Universities, Public/Government, and Investors to stimulate innovations, collaborations, and standardisations in the drone logistics industry.
The aim of the Drone Logistics Ecosystem is to bring together stakeholders in the drone logistics industry under one roof to support commercialisation and marketing of products of Drone Logistics members. Since the industry at its inception, most of the companies are early-stage start-ups with limited access to funding, manpower and expertise, making us an ideal platform for companies to lend their expertise for joint-development of products, consulting, or simply as sub-contractors, or for any other format of cross-disciplinary/border collaboration.
The benefits of the Drone Logistics Ecosystem include.
· Inclusivity for all players in the industry with an open Drone Logistics Ecosystem.
· Standardization globally to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods from the factory to the end customer globally.
· A win-win for all participants in this emerging industry and the delivery and courier industry, and more importantly, the customers.
