Bubble Tea is a game about making bubble tea. There’s a surprise. You’ve got a machine that drops bubbles, liquid, ice cubes and more into a waiting cup. It’s a pretty simple premise, but there are some more complex parts of the game that you’re going to have to get to grips with if you want to make the best bubble tea in the world.
And that’s why we’ve written this guide. Here you’re going to find what we think are the best hints, tips and tricks that we’ve picked up during our time playing Bubble Tea. And we’ve played quite a lot of it.
If you’re about to make your first drink or you’ve been mixing them for a while, it’s highly likely there’s going to be something here that’ll help you get even better. So let’s bubbling well get on with it – here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Bubble Tea.
Add the balls first
If there are balls in the drink, you should add them to the cup first. Check the image in the top right of the screen, and see how many balls you need to add. Sometimes you’ll have to add multiple colors, so be sure you’re paying attention. You can add balls after the liquid, but it’s much easier if you don’t.
Check the color
Quite often you’re going to have to mix the colors together to get the hue that the customer is after. It’s not always just a case of going half and half, either. Look at the image and decide whether you’re going to need more of one color or another. You can fail levels if you get the mixture wrong. If you do fail, when you retry there’ll be a graph on the image showing you the percentages you need to add.
Don’t forget the ice cubes
Ice cubes need to be added at the end of the process, and it’s easy to forget them. Once you’ve dropped the balls and the liquid, check the image one last time to see if the drink needs ice cubes as well. You’ll fail the level if the drink doesn’t have everything it needs, so be sure to stick some ice in if that’s what the mixture calls for.
Watch out for keys
Keys float past while you’re making drinks, and you can grab some big rewards if you get three of them. Keep your eyes open when you’re mixing and if a key bobs past in a bubble, give it a tap. You’ll get coins and special drink lids when you’ve got three keys, so be sure to nab them when you can.
What are the coins for?
When you’ve got enough coins you can spend them on customizing your drinks cups. It’s a purely aesthetic change – different cups don’t make any difference to how the game plays. You’ll get plenty of coins as you play, so there’s not much point in watching the videos to increase your haul after a level.
