Cachet was an all-the-way winner of the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket for George Boughey and James Doyle.
The daughter of Aclaim was a 16-1 chance for the fillies’ Classic but led from the stalls and was never passed, providing Boughey with his first Classic and Doyle with a famous big-race double after the jockey won the 2000 Guineas aboard Coroebus on Saturday.
Ralph Beckett’s Prosperous Voyage was second by a neck at 33-1, with 4-1 chance Tuesday another length and three-quarters back in third for Aidan O’Brien and Frankie Dettori.
