Rainbow Six Siege has been a massively popular FPS shooter game developed by Ubisoft. And earlier on April 6, 2022, Ubisoft announced that they are actively working on Rainbow Six Mobile and soon the closed alpha testing will be started. Recently, in a press release by Ubisoft, they revealed all the details about the upcoming mobile game.


For those who are unfamiliar with Rainbow Six, it is an online tactical shooter game. The game tasks players to control different operators, each of them has an individual role in the game. Each has different game modes to choose from, each having different objectives in the game. Rainbow Six Mobile is the ninth edition of the Rainbox Six series.

Rainbow Six Mobile will be somewhat similar to Rainbow Six Siege, with two teams of five attackers and defenders. The game took almost three years to develop and finally, Ubisoft has announced the details about the start of closed alpha testing. Including what maps, operators, and more will be available at launch. Here are the complete details about the upcoming Rainbow Six Mobile.

Rainbow Six Mobile Alpha Testing Release Date and Sign Up

Rainbow Six Mobile Gameplay Alpha Testing

Rainbow Six Mobile closed alpha testing will be starting on May 3rd, 2022. If you want to join the closed alpha testing, then you need to sign up for it. Here are the complete steps to sign up for Rainbow Six Mobile Alpha Testing:

  • Go to the official Rainbow Six Mobile sign-up site.
  • Choose the platform you will be playing Rainbow Six Mobile on.
  • Register yourself via using your Ubisoft account. If you don’t have one, you can sign up and make one.
  • After you log in with your Ubisoft account, you need to fill up answers.
  • Once done, you will be redirected to the confirmation page regarding your sign-up.

After you sign up for the alpha testing, if you are selected for it, you will receive a unique code to download the game. The players who registered and receive the code will only be able to download the game. The first Rainbow Six Mobile Alpha Testing will be only available for android devices.

Since this will be a closed alpha testing, this means the game will be available for limited regions only. Here is the complete list of all the regions Rainbow Six Mobile is available for closed alpha testing:

Located in the middle of a highly populated city, this heavily fortified bank will not be easy to infiltrate. Attackers will have difficulty finding the objective, as the building is comprisedof several small and medium-sized rooms that can be easily reinforced by the Defenders.

Border

Border Map Rainbow Six Mobile Alpha Testing

In this map, you’ll feel isolated in this deadly outpost set at the border of two countries. Completely surrounded by deserted mountains, this map comprises old and new buildings and is filled with open areas. Moving around will be dangerous and must be calculated carefully as it is one of the most open and destructible maps.

Rainbow Six Mobile will initially have five attackers and defenders operators to choose from, although this list will increase as the development of the game will grow. Here is the list of all the attackers and defenders operators.

What content you can expect

Since this is the first time the game is available for public testing, the main focus will be on the core gameplay mechanics. Players will be able to play from 16 different operators throughout the closed alpha testing. There won’t be more maps added for the time being. There will be two game modes available during the testing phase, and participants will be able to create a friend list and team up with each other.
