The new company will focus on providing marketing services for Oddin.gg’s clients. This includes media procurement, website integration, influencer campaigns and branded tournaments.
Vlastimil Venclik, Co-Founder and CEO of Oddin.gg, spoke on the acquisition: “For those versed in Norse mythology, Jotun is not an unfamiliar name. A ‘Jotun’ was a member of the race of giants, which certainly reflects the direction we want to take with the new company: a gigantic, 360 degree approach that will touch on every area of our clients’ esports needs, necessities, demands, and wishes.
“With Jotun.gg, we are clearly aiming for the stars.”
According to the release, Thousand Lives and Oddin.gg already had multiple overlapping clients in the esports sector, creating the base for the acquisition. The decision to merge the companies reportedly aims to maximise value and results for Oddin.gg’s partners and clients.
The live-odds provider has recently secured multiple partnerships, including deals with SB22, Esports Entertainment Group, Betway, live betting services supplier Sports Information Services (SIS) and the Centre of Betting Vietnam (CBV).

Nazar Honcharuk, CEO of Thousand Lives, commented: “I am beyond excited to work on marketing activities for Oddin.gg’s clients. Their odds solutions are already the best and most numerous on the market, so integrating our advertising opportunities will definitely ensure substantial commercial success for us and our partners”.
Esports Insider says: Oddin.gg has been recently fairly busy with bolstering its position in the esports betting market, securing new partnerships as well as expanding into new regions. As such, it’s not a big surprise to see the company also expand into new markets. Starting with esports betting marketing, the formation of Jotun.gg will open plenty of new business opportunities for the live-odds provider.
