All of us here at Gameloft Montreal are beyond excited to today announce Disney Dreamlight Valley, our upcoming life-sim adventure game that is headed to early access on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10/11 PC, and with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate this summer ahead of our free to play launch in 2023.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is all about giving players the chance to live a magical life alongside iconic Disney and Pixar characters. Players step into the dream world of Dreamlight Valley, embarking on an enchanting quest to restore a once-idyllic village now desolate and full of night thorns. Uncover the mysterious secrets that led you to this new world and explore diverse realms inspired by classic Disney and Pixar worlds, while helping the iconic inhabitants of the town recover their lost memories.

We’re particularly proud of the game’s expansive, engrossing story-driven campaign. Disney and Pixar characters you meet have their own unique individualized story arcs and friendship goals, both of which you can fulfill through exploration, gift giving, and other fun activities. As you help your new friends, you will gradually begin to remove the night thorns around Dreamlight Valley with the power of your inner magic. This results in new areas opening for you to explore, as well as gives you access to even more Disney and Pixar friends to find and help.

Throughout your journey, you will take part in fun activities where you’ll get to know your Disney and Pixar friends in new ways! Your days will be filled with everything from whipping up delectable Disney-themed desserts in your own village restaurant alongside Remy from Disney and Pixar’s “Ratatouille,” using your latest catch from your time at the fishing hole with Goofy, as well as vegetables you planted and harvested from Wall•E’s garden patch, just to name a few. Best of all, we will be regularly updating the game with more content, including around new Disney and Pixar movies and events. No matter what, you will always find new adventures to have, more activities to enjoy, and new friends to discover, all for free.

As huge Disney and Pixar fans ourselves, we understand that a lot of time celebrating and sharing that fandom is a personal thing. Disney Dreamlight Valley lets you design the Disney and Pixar village of your dreams while bringing customization and personalization to not only your character but also Dreamlight Valley itself. Try on hundreds of different clothing items from an ever-evolving list of Disney princess-inspired ballgowns, Mickey Mouse adorned streetwear, or unleash your inner artist and create your own t-shirts, skirts, hats, and more. Outfit your village home with a plethora of interior decor items like Frozen-inspired antique kitchen designs and spice up the village with your own creative touch, unlocking new items as you play through the game and build your friendships with your Disney and Pixar neighbors. We really encourage players to make both their character and their Valley as unique as possible and we look forward to rolling out even more items and options in the future.

If you’re interested in getting one of the first chances to live magically in Disney Dreamlight Valley, all you’ll need is an active Xbox Game Pass membership to gain access to our upcoming early access (more details coming soon). Players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10/11 PC can gain early access through purchase of a Founders Pack on the Xbox Store. We’ll even be throwing in some exclusive rewards for those who pre-order, so be sure to keep up to date by following one of our many social channels or by visiting www.disneydreamlightvalley.com.

We could not be more excited to welcome you to Dreamlight Valley this summer in early access where you’ll be the first to experience the game and share feedback as we bring this game to launch! We hope to see you there and we know a few residents who are looking forward to it, too.
