Muscle Land is a game about eating, working out and adding new areas to your growing island. There are crops to grow and harvest, weights to life and workers to hire. Essentially, there’s a lot going on in this strange hybrid of genres.

But we don’t want that to put you off, so we decided it was a good idea to write up a guide to help you out. We discovered these strategies during our time playing Muscle Land and now we’re only too happy to pass them on. Hopefully they’ll make your time with the game that much smoother.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve just picked up a barbell for the first time or you’ve already harvested numerous burger fields, there’s going to be something here that’ll take your skills to the next level. These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Muscle Land.

Keep adding

Your aim here is to keeping building new parts of your empire, so keep on the move and keep adding new parcels of land whenever you’ve got enough energy to do it. The more land you add the more potential land you’ll unlock. Keep adding and you’ll do just fine.

Get some workers

You should hire workers as soon as you’ve got the chance. They’ll go around your island harvesting crops and returning them to the store house. Then you just have to pop back and gain the energy for yourself. Upgrade them too and they’ll work faster, getting you your energy quicker.

Upgrade yourself

Don’t forget to upgrade yourself as well. The more energy and calories you can carry, the easier the game gets. So make sure you’re spending some of your hard earned coins on yourself as well as other upgrades. You’ll find things getting much easier when you can carry more.

There are often videos that let you unlock certain tasks or increase the money you’ve earned. For the most part they’re not worth your time – and since there are already so many adverts in the game you’re probably not going to be able to stomach watching any more. Just keep grinding on.

Use the closest workout

When you’ve consumed some food and bulked up, you should use the work out station closest to you to get those calories turned into much more useful energy. That way you can spend it quicker and keep building your island. Make the change as quick as you can and keep pushing on.
