It includes a range of PS4 games that can be downloaded locally via backwards compatibility. This includes first-party games such as God of War and Ratchet and Clank to popular third-party titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 — Zombies Chronicles Edition and Batman: Arkham Knight. The service allows players to play through the whole game as long as they are a PS Plus subscriber – similar to how the free monthly games work. Since its inception, no games have been added or removed from the collection.After months of rumors, PlayStation announced its plans to revamp PS Plus and potentially compete with Xbox Game Pass. Yesterday, three tiers were announced: PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium. Essential will be the same PS Plus subscription we have today. Extra adds up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games.
