Texas Tech baseball found a fascinating way to get a huge win over the Texas Longhorns as the Red Raiders stole home in the bottom of the 10th inning.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders just made one of the best baseball plays you’ll see this season.

As the Texas Tech baseball team hosted the Texas Longhorns, the Red Raiders found an unlikely way to pull off the upset over the second-ranked Longhorns in Lubbock. Thanks to brilliant base running and a perfectly timed stolen base, the Red Raiders beat the Longhorns in the bottom of the 10th inning to cap off a beautiful back-and-forth affair.

It’s difficult to accurately describe just how impressive this is. You need to watch this play.

The fact that Texas outhit Texas Tech 11 to three, but the Red Raiders were able to win because of savvy baserunning and the ability to read when the pitcher wasn’t paying attention is incredible. The folks out in west Texas should be thrilled with this one.

Red Raiders everywhere fell in love with the play. That even includes Texas Tech legend, and one-time baseball player, Patrick Mahomes who couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

It feels like few people do more to represent the Red Raiders than Mahomes does. With seemingly every big win the school has, Mahomes is one of the first to congratulate and celebrate whatever it is that Texas Tech is able to accomplish.
