World War Z: Aftermath players can now access the Cut & Mend major update for free, which adds new weapons, trinket cosmetics, perk swapping, and more — and an Xbox Series X|S upgrade is on its way too.While new World War Z achievements look to be missing with this update, new players or those that fancy returning for some zombie action can expect some pretty cool additions. Cut & Mend is now freely available for all players and includes a new sword melee weapon, another ACW rifle variant, as well as a host of new cosmetic trinket items. Alongside the new items, Saber Interactive has added the ability to quickly swap each class’ perk loadouts without having to reassign them all, and the medkit slot can now hold adrenaline and bandage kits — adrenaline boosts your stamina and can be used for self-revives and bandage kits can be used on your teammates. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive also say that a free upgrade for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 is expected to drop in the coming months and will boast various enhancements.
