Our first batch of Xbox Game Pass casualties for July has appeared in the ‘leaving soon’ section of the Game Pass app. CrossCode, Downwell, and Endless Space 2 will all drop out of Xbox Game Pass soon. So far, a date for when these games will leave hasn’t appeared on the app, but we expect they’ll leave Xbox Game Pass on or around July 14th. As previously announced, both EA Sports UFC and EA Sports UFC 2 will be removed from EA Play and Xbox Game Pass on the 14th. CrossCodeDescription: CrossCode is all about how it plays! Take the best out of two popular genres, find a good balance between them and make a great game. That’s what CrossCode does. You get the puzzles of Zelda-esque dungeons and are rewarded with the great variety of equipment you know and love from RPGs.Size: 1.5GBOut of the three new games that have appeared today, CrossCode is the only console title. Estimates suggest that it’ll take you between 35 and 40 hours to unlock all of the action-RPG’s 20 achievements. All bar one of its achievements are story-related, so on paper, CrossCode looks to be a somewhat easy completion if you’re willing to invest the time. CrossCode is also included in Xbox Game Pass for PC, but the Windows 10 version does not support achievements. CrossCodeCrossCode is all about how it plays! Make your way further and further down into the darkness filled with nasty creatures and mysterious secrets to collect the spectacular red gems scattered about the rocks. Step into precariously placed shops and buy some helpful items or level up between levels to battle well-dwelling monsters and uncover hidden caves filled with riches and relics. No two trips down the well are ever the same!Downwell, which leaves Xbox Game Pass for PC, is a tough little roguelite that will take you between 15 and 20 hours to complete. If you are looking to unlock all 22 of Downwell’s achievements, be prepared to have your patience tested, especially with the five difficulty-specific achievments, which ask you to beat the game in hard mode.DownwellDownwell is a curious game about a young person venturing down a well in search of untold treasures with only his Gunboots for protection. The real-time strategy game has a whopping 80-100 hour completion estimate, so if you haven’t already started it, you better get cracking. Most of the game’s achievements have high TA ratios attached, with the toughest being Endless Gamer, which asks you to play for a total of 10,000 turns. Have fun grinding that one out.
