Xbox players that are fans of the horror genre look to be in for a treat when Dark Fracture launches later this year to take you on a journey of madness, which the developer says will be “creepy as f**k.”Who doesn’t love a good scare? Well, plenty of people, probably, but those of you that do, might want to keep your eyes on Dark Fracture. Developed by one man at Twisted II Studio and published by Feardemic, Dark Fracture follows the story of Edward, a man tormented by his past who works on a Body Farm in the 90s — Body Farms are used to study the differing levels of decomposition in humans and animals — and who begins to witness disturbing events where nothing is quite as it seems. It’s a first-person psychological cosmic horror game that tasks you with keeping Edward’s sanity meter balanced as the world around you begins to merge with a parallel dimension. You’ll need to solve puzzles, interact and manipulate objects to progress through the story, and make key decisions that will impact Edward’s fate… no pressure. The latest trailer for Dark Fracture, shown during Feardemic’s Fear Fest 22, gives us a closer look at the horrors that await those brave enough to step into this creepy world. Twisted II Studio’s Nissai Becker says that the game is a passion project of his, saying: “I wanted to take players on a journey that would be creepy as f**k.” It certainly looks like he might well achieve that later this year.Dark Fracture doesn’t have a set release date yet — we just know that it’s coming later this year for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
