Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows was given an introductory trailer during Feardemic’s Fear Fest 2022, which gives us a bit of the mischievous protagonist’s backstory and a look at some of the colourfully vibrant gameplay.We all have someone in our lives that we “can’t live with, can’t live without,” and the same can be said for Vic, Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadow’s protagonist. Developed by a group of industry veterans at King’s Pleasure and published by Feardemic, Cosmic will take players on an adventure as they attempt to reunite Vic with his missing shadow — which he wished away on a shooting star. When Vic made his fateful wish, he not only lost his shadowy best friend but was transported to a shadow realm, and is now accompanied by another, bigger, and more aggressive shadow.Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows is a 2D adventure game that takes you on a journey across worlds, has you solving puzzles, finding secrets, and overcoming a plethora of challenges. You’ll need to travel through space and time to unlock previously inaccessible locations as you navigate through the game and unlock new skills and abilities. The shadow world is filled with enemies that can be fought using light and the aggressive nature of your new shadowy companion, or passed by using the darkness and subterfuge.You’ll be able to help Vic with his mission later this year, when Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
