Update: Tunic’s Xbox Store listing has now gone live and it confirms that Tunic is playable with Xbox Game Pass! We should have the Tunic achievements shortly. Original Story: Tunic launches today, and it looks like the cutesy action game where you play as a little fox who sets out on a big adventure could join Xbox Game Pass as a surprise addition. TA member Guttapunk posted an image over on Twitter (via Rover_ on Resetera) of the Xbox UI, which shows a tile of Tunic with the words “Buy or play with Xbox Game Pass” emblazoned across it. Now, Tunic has never been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass, and publisher Finji even tweeted that Tunic wasn’t coming to the service back in January, but that might have changed in recent months. There are rumblings online that we’ll get some surprise Xbox Game Pass announcements during today’s ID@Xbox showcase, with some thinking that Tunic could be one of them. The ID@Xbox Spring Showcase begins at 10am PDT/1pm EDT/5pm GMT, and according to the COO of Open Critic, Tunic’s review embargo ends at the same time the event starts… maybe it’s just a coincidence? What’s also strange is that Tunic doesn’t have an Xbox Store listing. It’s very unusual to see a game that is just hours away from launch without a pre-order page live.
