The long-awaited next-generation update for both Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online is now available to play on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. GTA Online is now also available to download as a standalone title, PlayStation 5 players can download GTA Online for free through to June 14th.
GTA Online & GTA V Next-Generation Released
Rockstar Games welcomes players back to Los Santos on the latest generation of consoles from both Sony & Microsoft. For the first time, players can now download and play both GTA Online and Grand Theft Auto V using the latest console hardware available, boasting an array of interesting upgrades and improvements.
New Visuals
The new release boasts improved levels of “fidelity and performance” with a selection of new graphics modes to use. Players can select up to 4k resolution, 60 frames per second, ray tracing, improve textures, and more.
Faster Loading
Faster loading across the board with both Los Santos and Blaine County “loading faster than ever before”.
Immersive Controls
Dynamic resistance and haptic feedback via PlayStation 5’s DualSense Adaptive Triggers, which supports weather effects, road surfaces, explosions, and more.
