Go behind-the-scenes with Darryl Purdy, Cinematics & Animation Director at Eidos-Montréal, to learn more about what went into Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Previously working on The Last Witch Hunter and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Purdy and his team created six hours of cinematics through the performance capture process as animation director.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – Performance Capture Making-of Video | PS5, PS4

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has players taking control of Star Lord (aka Peter Quill) as he teams up with Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Drax the Destroyer as the titular Guardians of the Galaxy. Along the way, they will have to contend with the Universal Church of Truth and a group of bounty hunters known as the Lethal Legion.

The game is now available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch (via cloud), and PC. You can read our review of the PlayStation 5 version here, which we gave a score of 95/100 and said was “flarkin’ fantastic” – quite the honor!

Square Enix today announced the release of a new demo for the upcoming Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, the third demo available in the build up to official launch later this month. Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC via Epic Games on March 18th.

Square Enix just revealed an exciting new trailer for the upcoming strategy RPG, The DioField Chronicle. The game is planned to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, sometime later this year.
