The Elden Ring world record speedrun was seemingly broken twice in one day, with both times clocking in at less than one hour.YouTube user LilAggy published his speedrun yesterday, where he rolled credits at 59 minutes and 38 seconds. At the time, it appeared to be a new world record. “That could not have been closer,” he said at the time. That record only took a few hours to be beaten. Distortion2 on YouTube published his own speedrun where he undercut the previous record by ten minutes, rolling credits at 49 minutes and 29 seconds. Even more impressive, Distortion2 claims it was his first attempt at speedrunning the game, and that the category for Any% runs (essentially, reaching the end by any means) could probably go under 40 minutes.FIRST TO FINISH ELDEN RING IN UNDER 50 MINUTES.
