LeBron James and Patrick Mahomes reacted to Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s left knee injury in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals was already being played without Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young, after he suffered a bone bruise in his right foot the game prior. Unfortunately, the injuries kept on coming in this series, this time occurring to Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. While contesting an alley-oop dunk by Clint Capela, Antetokounmpo’s left knee buckled in an ugly way as he was coming back down to the court.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, like the rest of the viewing audience, were stunned and hoping for the best for Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo clutched his left knee after it hyperextended before he was helped back to the locker room. To the surprise of everyone, the Bucks star limped back towards the bench area, only to return to the back.

Moments after returning to the locker room area, Antetokounmpo was officially ruled out for the rest of the game with a left knee hyperextension.

Antetokounmpo played 21 minutes, recording 14 points (7-of-10 shooting from the field), 8 rebounds and 3 assists in Game 4. Through the first three games of the Eastern Conference Finals, Antetokounmpo averaged 30.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game while shooting 59.7 percent from the field.

All eyes will be on social media feeds in the coming hours to see what the official prognosis is for the Bucks star’s injury. Given that Game 5 takes place this Thursday, Antetokounmpo will be questionable to play at best.

We will continue to keep you updated on Antetokounmpo’s status once details are provided.
