If you’re chasing down those Assassin’s Creed Valhalla achievements but would prefer not to worry as much about stealth and combat, you’re in luck; tomorrow’s Title Update 1.5.0 will add, along with support for the Dawn of Ragnarök expansion and bug fixes and improvements, a Saga difficulty mode. The Saga difficulty mode, Ubisoft says, lets you “Write your own Viking Saga without having to worry about the challenges of stealth and combat.” Enemies won’t scale with players or deal as much damage, and you’ll be allowed more time to do things like assassinate, shoot, or disengage with someone before being detected. Title Update 1.5.0 also adds support for the Dawn of Ragnarök expansion, which launches on March 10th, adding weapons, armour, and more — including new achievements. Luckily, we’ve already got the Dawn of Ragnarök achievements so you can get an idea of what you’ll be facing in March.Stealth fixes included with Title Update 1.5.0 improve the AI reaction to whistling, cause you to be detected when using environmental traps, have wild animals detecting Eivor and alerting NPCs, cause NPCs to disengage from conflicts more quickly, and reduces “enemy detection cones” when using a bow. New combat settings, meanwhile, include “Damage Eivor Takes, Eivor Damage Output, Ration Healing Ratio, Adrenaline Regeneration, and Enemy Health Modifier.” The update also addresses a number of bugs to do with gameplay, main quests, world events, side activities, and more.Title Update 1.5.0 arrives tomorrow, February 22nd, at 12pm GMT/1pm CET/7am EST/4am PST/11pm AEDT. It will be 12.27 GB for Xbox Series X|S and 9.84 GB for Xbox One.
