Scathe, an “intense, classic FPS with big guns and even bigger demons,” launches for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One later this year. Check out the announcement trailer below:We play as the titular character Scathe, Enforcer of the Legions of Hell. Our objective is deceptively simple: we need to grab all the Hellstones and escape the maze. Unfortunately, that maze is “entangled with demonic evil at every twist and turn.” So, you know. No pressure there. We learn a little more about Scathe on its Steam page: “Scathe is no ordinary FPS… Take on relentless bullet Hell fuelled combat, with deadly projectiles and countless demons at every turn. Utilise Scathe’s incredible speed to smash through your enemies and incoming fire.” We’ll be armed with weapons such as the Hot Hatch and the Bow Blade. Scathe also features drop-in/drop-out online co-op, but it sounds as though you’ll need to think carefully about your team: apparently, “everyone shares the same pool of lives.”What do you think of Scathe?
