The Elder Scrolls Online is showing us that love manifests itself in different ways — such as spilling the blood of your enemies in Cyrodiil — with the Whitestrake’s Mayhem PvP-focused event. Sure, it’s not exactly Valentine’s Day-themed like other games, but the rewards are awesome, so who cares?The Whitestrake’s Mayhem in-game event will be dishing out bonus Alliance Points, XP, and rewards when it kicks off next Thursday, February 17th, running until March 1st. To join the fun, head to the in-game Crown Store and pick up the free quest titled ‘Details on the Whitestrake’s Mayhem.’ Head to your Alliances main gate in Cyrodiil, or to the Battlegrounds camp outside of the game’s main cities and continue the quest with Predicant Maera — you won’t need to do it if you’ve completed it before. Once you’ve completed the quest, Maera will reward you with the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity and a Pelinal’s Boon Box. The Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity gives you a two-hour 100% XP bonus to all Alliance Points and XP earned in Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and Battlegrounds, and you can repeatedly use it throughout the event.After that, you’re free to go and slay enemy players in whatever PvP area you wish, and reap the rewards in the form of Pelinal’s Boon Boxes. These crates of goodies will be regularly given to you while you are taking part in PvP activities, as a bonus alongside Rewards of the Worthy boxes. You can also earn them as additional rewards for completing the Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds daily quests. Harvest nodes in Cyrodiil and the Imperial City will also be paying out double yield during the event, so don’t forget to stop and collect them when the opportunity presents itself.The Pelinal’s Boon Boxes will have a chance to contain the following items:A Chapter or book of your Alliance’s armour motif A Chapter or book for the Akaviri armour motif Akaviri armour style itemAlchemy IngredientsBlack Drake Clanwrap Armor PackContainer with two tradeable runeboxes for Black Drake body and face markings.Coldharbour siege weaponCyrodiil Repair KitForward Camp for your AllianceLegion Zero Vigiles Outfit Style PagesParcel of Tel Var StonesPrismatic RunestoneSoul GemsTransmute GeodeWhitestrake’s Mayhem book furnishingYour Alliance’s armour style itemThe Impresario event merchant will be returning, and with it, the chance to earn 39 Event Tickets throughout the Whitestrake’s Mayhem event. You’ll be able to earn two tickets for completing your first Cyrodiil or Battlegrounds daily quest each day, and one ticket for completing an Imperial City daily quest each day. The tickets can then be used to purchase the following items, including the next pieces of the Scales of Akatosh Skin:Bag of Veteran’s Glory — which contains collectables from previous years.
