Celebrate with its relaxing art style and puzzles. Had a bad day? Unleash your inner pettiness and ruin everyone else’s by wreaking havoc as the world’s most chaotic goose. Steal slippers, cause arguments, irritate as many people as possible and make sure none of those poor, innocent townspeople have a moment’s peace by honking non-stop, chasing anyone who’s afraid of you, and stealing the belongings of everyone else. Fling their lunch in the river! Steal their shoes! Untitled Goose Game lets you do it all. Causing chaos never gets old, and Untitled Goose Game works some beautifully designed puzzles into all the havoc. At 40% off, it’s pretty much a steal itself. Kes — Kerbal Space Program Enhanced EditionKerbal Space Program Enhanced EditionIn Kerbal Space Program, take charge of the space program for the alien race known as the Kerbals. You have access to an array of parts to assemble fully-functional spacecraft that flies (or doesn’t) based on realistic aerodynamic and orbital physics. Launch your Kerbal crew into orbit and beyond (while keeping them alive) to explore moons and planets in the Kerbol solar system, constructing bases and space stations to expand the reach of your expedition.Kerbal Space Program just makes me so happy. This is a highly-detailed rocket-making game that is filled with nerdy details and funny twists in equal measure. At its most basic you need to make something that can get to space. That is really hard especially if you are a full-blooded idiot like me. Then you have to make sure it survives when it comes back down. But it quickly gets out of hand when you have to make it to the moon by slingshotting around the earth and keeping an eye on minute angles and entry speeds and landing gear. Oh my, I just get jacked off my SLS about it all. When those bits are down, you can build space stations; get to Mars or the rest of the solar system; make bases and crazy 18-stage launching systems… I just love it. Then you have your enigmatic Frankenstein’s monster-looking Kerbals who you are kind of putting to death with all of your failed attempts, but let’s not talk about that. Seriously, this game is an aspiring-astronaut-but-not-really-space-is-scary-dude dream and I cannot recommend it highly enough. That said, I have never tried the game on console and I cannot vouch for how the niggly selection process for your sealant nubbins, tertiary booster systems, and DRS, IRS, NDA, MMO, or CPR systems will be. Even if you start playing and decide you are not competent enough – that isn’t a dig, I can’t hack it either – then YouTube is your friend and will help you get just that little bit further without an accident you disguise as a ‘training exercise’. The completion including DLC is quite the voyage, especially without the guides we have up on TA, and in some regions the base version of the game is the lowest it has ever been. As icing on the cake, Kerbal is getting a free next-gen upgrade by the end of the year! I implore you to start playing, my fellow brave engineers, and make that satisfying rocket of your wildest, sickest, filthiest dreams work. Luke — Curse of the Dead GodsCurse of the Dead GodsYou seek untold riches, eternal life, divine powers – it leads to this accursed temple…

– Dozens of enemies, with powerful champions and deadly bosses to face off againstI’ve championed this one before, when I myself saw it at this same 50% discount in a previous sale, picked it up on a whim (I do love a good roguelike) and ended up absolutely loving it. But now, with Hades finally confirmed to be coming to Xbox in August, Curse of the Dead Gods gets another shoutout as probably the best option to fill that Hades-shaped hole in your life until then. Combat is fast, intense, and varied, with all kinds of enemies and hazards as well as plenty of cool tools of destruction with which to deal with all those threats. The titular Curses are an integral part of the game, with a gauge tracking your current corruption level, which rises as you get hit by some attacks, move to another floor, or choose to pay some of your humanity for boons and gear. Once the bar fills, boom, have a Curse. Adapting to which ones you get (and choosing which to bin off between areas, should you survive that long) is crucial, as is keeping an eye on that gauge in general — the fifth and final Curse you succumb to is always extremely nasty and could be a run killer, so only the brave and the foolhardy (and achievement hunters) should invite that final Curse into their lives. Dead Cells fans can also enjoy some neat crossover content added in a recent free update. Hands down one of the best roguelikes on Xbox, and I can’t recommend Curse of the Dead Gods enough. Sean — WW1 Game Series Bundle — Verdun and TannenbergWW1 Game Series BundleExperience authentic First World War action with 40 player battles of maneuver on the Eastern Front. Grab your rifle, ready your sabre and keep your gas mask close as you prepare to play a part in one of the most significant conflicts in history!If you’re looking for a multiplayer first-person shooter that’s a little different from your Call of Duties and your Battlefields, Verdun and Tannenberg are both worth a look in. I won’t say they compete with those two big guns in terms of quality, but they sure are a lot of fun. Both games are set during World War I, with Verdun focusing on trench warfare and Tannenberg opening up the battlefield with larger maps. The weapons in both games are authentic to the time period, so there are no fully automatic weapons (other than machine gun emplacements), just bolt action rifles, pistols, and hand grenades. These weapons mean Verdun and Tannenberg play out at a much slower pace, especially when you have to reload after each shot.Both games are included in the WW1 Game Series Bundle, which can be picked up for $12.24/£10.23/€12.24. On the achievement front, Tannenberg is by far the easier of the two. Verdun will take some serious grinding to complete, thanks to the Headhunter III achievement. Tracks — for me at least — is that game, and I couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone that had even the slightest interaction with the wooden train sets as a child. Tracks – The Train Set Game is exactly what it says it is: a game to craft your own wooden model railway within a small sandbox. It’s a magical experience, and you’ll find yourself tooting that horn with joy as your little steam engine swoops down the tracks from a chair, charges across the living room floor and grinds to a halt at the station in front of the TV. You can pick the game’s bundle up for a 30% discount at the moment, which happens to be the lowest price it’s been on the store.
