Respawn has unveiled Mad Maggie’s combat abilities with a gameplay trailer ahead of the warlord’s entry into the Apex Games when Apex Legends: Defiance kicks off on February 8th.Mad Maggie will be the newest entry into the Apex Legends roster when she joins the game next week. Being a warlord, Maggie is adept in the art of slaughter, and comes loaded with abilities that help her hunt down and execute enemy Legends quickly.Maggie’s passive ability, Warlord’s Ire, not only gives her a speed boost when carrying a shotgun — allowing her to rapidly close the gap between her and a fleeing target — but it also allows her to highlight enemies that she has damaged. Riot Drill is Mad Maggie’s Tactical ability, which as the name suggests, is a drill that can penetrate any barrier an enemy is using for cover, even Gibraltar’s Dome shield. Riot Drill causes massive damage to any poor soul caught by the flames it spews out when drilling through the barrier.The final ability in her arsenal of pain is the Ultimate ability, Wrecking Ball. The ball is a bouncing projectile that ricochets off walls and cover, and while it doesn’t cause a huge amount of damage to enemy Legends, it does leave magnetic fragments in its wake that offers speed boosts to Maggie’s comrades — allowing her team to execute their targets during the chaos caused by Wrecking Ball.Are you looking forward to Mad Maggie’s entry into the Apex Games next week?
