Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed into 2023, according to a new report from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier. Bloomberg’s report states that Warner Media has “quietly delayed” Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League until 2023, citing anonymous sources familiar with the game’s development. A reason for the delay was not given. Neither Warner Bros. nor Rocksteady have commented on the report or announced a delay, so it might be worth taking this information with a grain of salt until either one makes an official announcement. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was announced two years ago during DC Fandome 2020 and was originally down to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC later this year. The game follows Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, who are tasked with taking out invading aliens and brainwashed members of the Justice League who are destroying the city of Metropolis. The third-person action-adventure game can either be played solo or with up to four pals in online co-op multiplayer. Each member of the squad has their own unique move set and traversal abilities, along with a bunch of weapons to customise and skills to unlock.
