Grounded Into the Wood update adds new areas, more bugs, and eight achievements

Obsidian has rolled out a big update for Grounded, which brings a bunch of new content to the game. The Into the Wood update adds new areas, bugs, and eight new achievements. With Into the Wood, you will have some new areas to explore. The first is The BBQ Spill, where fiery hot coals from an upturned BBQ have found their way into the sandbox, making for an area filled with scorched sands. Next, we have the Shed Surroundings, which is now filled with new items to explore and new and old creatures. Also around the back of the shed is the Termite Dungeon, which you’ll find in a pile of logs. This is the stronghold for a hive of termites who aren’t particularly fond of new trespassers. As for new bugs, 11 have found their way into the backyard: Termite, Soldier Termite, Ladybird Larva, Ladybird, Black Ox Beetle, Roly Poly (not sickly), Green Shield Bug, Dust Mite, Scarab, Infected Wolf Spider, Secret Royalty. Field Stations are getting an upgrade with the update and now have survey stations that can be used to search for resources after flipping the switch in the Hedge Lab. There’s also a bunch of new items to be crafted, and numerous quality-of-life changes included with the update. You can check out the update’s full patch notes here. On to achievements!
