Here’s a recap of everything from Day 2 of the Kickoff Classic

The 2022 Call of Duty League continued with day 2 of the Kickoff Classic. Here’s all the results, and standout moments from yesterday’s action.
If you missed Day 1, you can check out the recap here.

Seattle Surge 3-1 Atlanta FaZe

While many Call of Duty League fans expected Atlanta FaZe to dominate this match, this wasn’t a surprising result. With Surge coming off the back of a 3-0 sweep against the Royal Ravens, their momentum brough an exceptional match from Pred and fellow youngster Sib as they took the series 3-1.

Following the first map, many thought this would be a usual 3-0 sweep from FaZe. However a round 11 clutch from Seattle saw them start a streak of three consecutive maps, and take the series.

Toronto Ultra 3-1 Florida Mutineers

Toronto Ultra began the 2022 season as they ended it in 2021. They dominated in the respawns, yet again showcasing their pure teamwork and quality in these game modes. With every player on the roster finishing the series with a positive overall K/D, this was a great performance from Ultra.

New York Subliners 3-0 Minnesota ROKKR

The New York Subliners came out rather slow against Minnesota ROKKR, being outslayed by 22 kills in map one. However, they somehow managed to secure the victory, and this destroyed all motivation for ROKKR. NYSL stormed through the rest of the maps and took a quick 3-0 victory.

Los Angeles Thieves 3-1 OpTic Texas

LA Thieves took down OpTic Texas in their second match at the Kickoff Classic. This match was dominated by ARs, with Kenny and Drazah finishing +13 and +12 respectively. It was their performances that allowed them to control the match, and have more than a little bit of fun in the SnD.
