Rumor has it that Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have planned a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 reveal ahead of E3 2022, in spring of this year.The claim was made by industry insider Jeff Grubb during his Giant Bomb show. “Expect to hear about the game in a significant way before E3,” Grubb said. Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is likely to be in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. However, a PS4 version isn’t outside the realm of possibility.When will EA announce Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 release date?Grubb has speculated a release window of either late 2022 or sometime early 2023. The original game was announced during E3 2018 and released in November 2019. If the sequel follows the same trajectory, we’re looking at a mid-late 2023 release.If Grubb is right and Jedi: Fallen Order 2 release is set for 2022, EA might announce the release date at EA Play. However, if it’s set for a 2023 release, then we’ll get a release window at best.A 2022 release seems unlikely especially considering the ongoing pandemic.
