In our latest Xbox Gameplay Chart, we see some movement in the top ten, Xbox Game Pass boost Yakuza: Like a Dragon into the top 30, and Battlefield 4 continue its charge up the table following the Battlefield 2042 reveal. Here is the top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending June 20th, 2021.Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 2 million active Xbox accounts. Chart information is copyright TrueGaming Network. For details on how the chart is calculated, click here.Up in the dizzying heights of the top ten, none other than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (presumably boosted by Call of Duty: Warzone) remains firm in first place, as it has done for many, many months now. Black Ops Cold War has jumped back up five places into second, knocking Fortnite down to third. Following the Forza Horizon 5 reveal, it seems that some Xbox players have returned to the idyllic British country roads of Forza Horizon 4, as the open-world racing game overtakes competitors to sneak into the top ten. Other games that have presumably done well off the back of announcements at E3 are Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which has moved up five places, Sea of Thieves, up a whopping 10 places, and Battlefield 4, which reentered our Gameplay Chart last week in 25th, following the Battlefield 2042 reveal, and now sits in 20th position. So many players have returned to the modern-day first-person shooter that EA has had to increase its server capacity. Further down the chart, we see Yakuza: Like a Dragon making its first-ever appearance in our top 40, which is down to its recent inclusion into the Xbox Game Pass library. Halo 5: Guardians has reentered into the chart in 29th position, which we can only speculate is because of the Halo Infinite announcement. Perhaps players are returning to the game in preparation for Halo Infinite’s launch this holiday. Finally, we also see a new entry in Chivalry 2, the head-lopping medieval multiplayer game that launched on June 8th. This week, we have a couple of big titles launching, including Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, which is available with Xbox Game Pass, and Bandai Namco’s action-RPG, Scarlet Nexus, so we might see those make an appearance in our next Gameplay Chart. Also, Sea of Thieves’ big Pirates of the Caribbean crossover sets sails on June 22nd, so expect to see the swashbuckling adventure game climb the ranks even further. Perhaps it’ll make it into the top ten? What do you think? Give us your predictions for next week’s chart in the comments below.
