Seeing the success of the battle royale format, South Korean developer Wonder People proudly presents their own take on the genre – a game that incorporates realistic weapons and arms, immersive superpowers, and an RPG-influenced crafting system.
A big emphasis is placed on exploration in Super People. Naturally, you’ll need to loot the environment for weapons and gear, but the diverse setting of Orb Island makes this process far more rewarding than in similar games. There are no barren post-apocalyptic landscapes here. While looting, you can admire the beautiful cherry blossoms in Hazleton, marvel at the Sanctuary’s stained glass windows, or drink in Triville’s modernist architecture. Even the standard houses are full of detail, from your average suburban home to a fully-decked-out fast-food joint.
The unique environment is made all the more immersive due to the game’s high graphical fidelity and unique design. Cutting edge technologies such as ray-tracing are being implemented in Super People to make its graphics stand above competitors in the genre.
Of course, the main draw of Super People is, well, the super people. Each of the game’s playable classes offers unique traits and ultimate abilities that are a joy to discover and experiment with. Each hero also has their own distinctive and colourful design.

Each character has unique abilities, which can be upgraded using Super Capsules – secret supplements hidden at random throughout the game world. You can find out how deep the rabbit hole goes by chugging red, blue, and green capsules to upgrade skills corresponding to those colours. You can also find white and gold capsules, but we’ll let you discover the effects of these on your own.
This brings us to another interesting aspect of Super People – character progression. Performing actions like killing enemies or surviving for a certain amount of time will allow you to gain levels, ensuring that players who perform the best will be rewarded by growing stronger. Each character has 27 levels to work your way through, and reaching level 10 will allow you to use all-powerful ultimates. Ultimates range from movement skills like teleportation to all-out assault capabilities, such as nukes capable of taking down multiple enemies.
An element of creativity is also introduced through the crafting system. You’ll find crafting materials scattered around Orb Island, ranging from Nails to Lenses. This means that even if your first five minutes of farming wasn’t fruitful, you can craft your way through victory by collecting materials for higher tier weapons and equipment.

The true appeal of Super People lies in its interesting combination of character growth, grinding, crafting, and the actual battle, all beautifully mixed within the battle royale genre to bring a new kind of fun and enjoyment to the users.
