Ex-Street Fighter Boss Yoshinori Ono Moves To New Company Under Aniplex

Yoshinori Ono, the former Capcom developer who headed up its flagship fighting game series Street Fighter, has confirmed that he’s moved to a new company under Aniplex.Ono-san took on the role of Delightworks President and COO back in April 2021, and confirmed that Fate/Grand Order and other services will remain operational under the new company at Aniplex.Delightworks and Aniplex inked an agreement recently that will see the latter acquire all shares of a new company that will act as the successor for Delightworks’ game business via corporate split. The Fate/Grand Order development team will be included and will be transferred to the new studio in Spring 2022.The development and operations staff, as well as myself, will move to the new company. Fate/Grand Order and other service titles will continue operations under the new company.
