The Silent Hill f system requirements have been unveiled shortly after the game’s reveal, and despite being developed in Unreal Engine 5, the typical high PC demands that usually come with this engine are nowhere to be seen.
You won’t need the best graphics card to get the best out of Silent Hill f, which is the first game in this Konami horror franchise to actually be set in the developer’s homeland of Japan. In-engine footage has been shared, and this gloriously gory game is sure to look spectacular on high-end gaming PCs, but even if you have an older gaming PC, you’ll still be able to join in the fun, just at a lower resolution.
Here are the Silent Hill f system requirements:

Take our Silent Hill f system requirements PC benchmark test to answer the question… Can I run Silent Hill f?
The Silent Hill f minimum requirements are in line with what is expected from most modern 3D games. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 paired with an Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600.
You’ll also need 16GB of RAM, which might be tricky if your gaming PC is still stuck on 8GB. Luckily, this is one of the cheapest and easiest upgrades you can make to a gaming PC, and you can check out our best gaming RAM guide for advice on which sticks to pick up.
For the Silent Hill f recommended specs, you’ll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT alongside an Intel Core i7 9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500, with no increase to the RAM requirement.
We’ve seen other Unreal Engine 5 games get a little out of control with demands even at the minimum tier, just take a look at the inZOI system requirements as an example. So far, while we only have the minimum and recommended specs, it doesn’t seem like Silent Hill f will be too difficult to run, but this is all subject to change in the lead-up to release.
The only slight letdown is that the performance target for the minimum requirements is only 30fps at 720p, while the recommended specs are for 60fps at 1080p. Nvidia DLSS is referenced in the notes for the recommended specs, but otherwise, there is no suggestion that Silent Hill f’s PC specs have been posted with upscaling in mind (which is just as well, considering that you can’t run DLSS on a GTX card anyway), unlike the Monster Hunter Wilds system requirements.
The Silent Hill f download size has also been revealed as 50GB, with an SSD only required from the recommended tier. However, I always recommend buying the best SSD for gaming you can afford, even if it’s not required, because the performance benefits are well worth the now-reasonable price of most speedy drives.
