Announced during today’s Capcom Spotlight segment earlier today, Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny will enhance the classic entry in the time-honored series when it launces for PC and consoles later this year.
Originally released for the PlayStation 2 decades ago (2002 to be precise) and selling more than two million copies, Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny’s main character is based on the late Japanese actor Yusaku Matsuda.
This release of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny serves as a remaster of Jubei Yagyu’s revenge story, all while retaining the setting and gameplay systems of the original title. A number of quality-of-life improvements will also make their appearance.
