Microsoft is reportedly looking to bring the likes of Fable, Killer Instinct, and Starfield to the PS5 as the Xbox manufacturer continues to expand its multiformat plan, according to a report on Vandal.Beyond those games, the report also claims that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition are on their way to other formats, while Fable may even see a day one release on PS5 alongside Xbox and PC. The report comes only a day after it was confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 is heading to Sony’s current-generation system, which was followed by yet more rumours that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to launch on the PS5.Related Content – Upcoming PS5 Games 2025: The Best PS5 Game Coming Regarding the above games, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard murmurs about Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 coming to the PS5, as leaker NateTheHate said earlier this month the game is jumping to Sony’s console. Starfield meanwhile has long been rumoured to be coming to the PS5, with reports in February last year stating the sci-fi epic would join the PS5 lineup alongside Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the latter of which we know is due in Spring 2025.Meanwhile, Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer was asked in an interview earlier this week if he could confirm if Starfield would come to PS5, and he responded by saying there’s no reason ‘to put a ring fence around any game‘ to prevent it from doing so.
