What is Alphabet Bingo?In TrueAchievements Alphabet Bingo, just like traditional Bingo, we give you a 5×5 grid of squares with the center square being a “free” space. Your goal is to try to complete bingo lines, either vertical, horizontal, or diagonal, and if possible — complete the entire grid!However, this is a TrueAchievements Community Event so there’s no machine picking out numbered balls for you.This time, we’re playing for letters and to daub your squares you need to unlock achievements where the first character of the achievement name is the same as the letter in the square. To add an additional challenge, each achievement will increase the TrueAchievement Ratio required by 0.05 for the next achievement unlock.Also, to keep the fun going, you can generate a new grid after getting any bingo on your current one. Note that this won’t reset the TrueAchievement Ratio required for the next achievement unlock.So get on over to the TrueAchievements Alphabet Bingo hub to register and start playing when the event starts on Febuary 3rd at 10 AM UTC!How does TA Alphabet Bingo work?When you join the event we will generate you a random 5×5 grid, with each square assigned a letter in the alphabet. To mark your squares off, just unlock an achievement where the first character of the achievement name is the same as a letter in the grid and the TA ratio is above the required amount for your next unlock.When you do successfully daub a square we mark it off with the game the achievement was from and update an activity feed next to the grid — we even post any bingos on your friend feed!If you need help figuring out what achievements are applicable for which squares, just click on the square and we will take you to your achievement list filtered by achievements that start with that letter and that have the TA Ratio above the required ratio.When you’ve got a bingo you can either keep playing your current grid, or you can press the “Start new grid” button to generate an entirely new one.Alphabet Bingo BadgeAnyone who manages to get at least one Bingo (a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line) will be awarded a community challenge badge.For the more competitive amongst you, there’s also a leaderboard that is ordered by those with the most Bingos and unlocks across all of their cards!Useful links
