First we’ll talk about the fish itself, then got into how to catch one.
About The Treble Bass
The Treble Bass is the first Exotic rarity fish added to the Moosewood Bestiary. It was added in the latest update, and means that if you completed the Moosewood Bestiary in the past… well unfortunately it’s now uncompleted again. Sorry.
According to its in game description:
“The Treble Bass is an interesting sub-species of bass that can produce piano-like sounds with its many gills. Legend has it you can tune a fish, but not a treble bass. Or can you?“
It resembles a fish with piano keys along its side. Bass, bass… now we’re wondering how you says its name out loud.
How To Catch A Treble Bass
The Treble Bass favours the following conditions and bait.
- Preferred Seasons: None
- Preferred Time: None
- Preferred Weather: None
- Preferred Bait: Magnet
It’s very low weight, averaging only 5kg, so you don’t need a high weight limit rod like some Exotic fish. On the other hand it does get a 50% progress speed penalty, and it quite resilient, so we’d recommend a rod with high luck to shorten then time you’ll spend fishing for the Treble Bass. One you hook it, you’ll want more resilience, and control to make reeling it in easier, as you’ll be stuck in the minigame for longer.
The Treble Bass is normally found at the small island off of Moosewood Dock. We’ve included the coordinates for our favorite fishing spot below if you’re not sure which one we’re talking about.
