Microsoft reportedly has more Xbox Cloud Gaming improvements in development. It’s suggested that the company also plans to improve Xbox Cloud Gaming with a host of improvements, such as 4K streaming and support for PC games.Currently, Xbox Cloud Gaming supports up to 1080p resolutions and up to 60fps, depending on your internet speeds, but according to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, the company is looking to implement 4K streaming in the future. Higher bitrates are apparently on the way too, which would certainly be a welcome addition to support 4K resolutions.Last year, mouse and keyboard support was added for multiple Xbox Cloud Gaming titles on PC, and it looks like we might also see PC-only titles drop into the service in the future.On the topic of more supported games, Corden reports that “more buy-to-own Xbox cloud games” will be added to the service incrementally. In November, Microsoft added Cloud Gaming support to 50 games outside of the Game Pass catalog, allowing Ultimate subscribers to stream their owned games. We’re yet to see any other titles get Cloud Gaming support, but Microsoft reportedly plans to support additional titles via “semi-regular content drops as it expands its network storage capacity.”With Microsoft working on an Xbox handheld, further Cloud Gaming improvements would be ideal.
