Fisch Totem Locations Guide
Let’s take a look.
What Are Totems?
Totems are used to alter either the weather or the season, which is important, as you can only get certain fish at a specific time of day or weather condition. Once you have a totem, you and your whole server can enjoy the change! You’ll need a boat to get to these locations, which you can buy from the Shipwright NPC after completing two quests.
Keep in mind they are a one-time use. This means that after you have used it, it will disappear from your inventory and you’ll need to purchase another.
Sundial Totem
- This costs 2,000C$ and will skip the current time of day it is. So if it is daytime in your server, using this will make it nighttime.
Take a boat to the Sunstone Isle. On arrival, turn left and climb up the large wooden ladder. Then, head straight, jump up on the rocks, and keep walking. Make a slight right turn, and you will see a small cave opening. Walk inside and drop down to find the Sundial Totem.
Tempest Totem
- The Tempest Totem costs 2000C$ and will make it rain.
Make your way on a boat to Terrapin Isle. When you’re there, look for the two orange flags on the coastline. Now, get ready to hold your breath, as you’ll need to swim under and into the cave entrance. Go through there until you reach an open clearing. Jump onto the rock to find the totem.
Windset Totem
- Like the others, this is 2000C$. However, this totem will make it windy.
Board a boat and go to Snowcap Isle. When you get there, walk past the cabins on the left and head straight. Make a slight right turn at the large tree and keep walking until you enter Snowcap Cave. Climb up the ladder on the left and follow the path of rocks. Some of the platforms are thin, so make sure you don’t slip! Keep following the path until you find the totem nestled behind some mushrooms.
Smokescreen Totem
- You guessed it! This costs 2000C$. This totem will make it foggy.
Head over to Mushgrove Swap and walk straight. When you get to Alligator Marsh, make a slight right to walk past the bundle of three red mushrooms and onto the rock platform. You will find the Totem on one of the rock slabs. This is the easiest to find, as you don’t have to head into a cave!
Aurora Totem
- This costs 500,000C$ and triggers the Aurora Borealis event.
This totem is located inside of a cave near the Desolate Brine Pool. To get here, you’ll need to make your way down to the Desolate Deep and take the path on the right, leading you to the Desolate Pocket. We have a more detailed Fisch Brine Pool Guide to help!
Eclipse Totem
- The Eclipse Totem costs 250,000C$ and will cause the Eclipse event to happen.
Go o the Ancient Isles and take the zipline from where the Merchant NPC is. Then, climb up the left side to where the waterfall is. Once you’ve reached the zipline, make a slight right and jump down the rocky platforms. You will see a roped fence with some hanging leaves. Behind those leaves is a cave entrance with the totem inside.
Meteor Totem
- Watch your head! Using this totem will cause a Meteor to fall from the sky. It costs 75,000C$, but there is also a chance you can find one inside of Treasure Chests.
Head inside of Roslit Volcano to find this totem. Keep in mind that falling into the lava will kill you straight away, so watch your step! Once inside the volanco, follow the rocky obstacle course that runs along the walls. If you keep following it, you will find the Meteor Totem.
Avalanche Totem
- You can buy this for 150,000C$ and it will cause an Avalanche.
Make your way to the Northern Summit Mountain. You can follow the waypoint marker on your screen to find it! Once you’ve arrived, climb to the centre of the mountain until you beach the snowy bridge. You will find a large rock on the edge, with the totem located beside it.
Blizzard Totem
- Hold on tight! Buying this totem for 275,000C$ will make a Blizzard happen.
Sail the seas to the Northern Summit and head to the Frigid Cavern area (it has lots of tents and small fires set up). Make your way to the long red tent and turn left. It’s recommended you use a Glider, as the totem is on the edge of the rocky platform located slightly below.
