Grace is out now on Roblox. We’ve also got a Grace Elkman guide for the Goatman’s less intimidating cousin.
Grace Goatman Guide
Time to get into the gist of Goatman.
About Goatman
Goatman is an entity that can appear in every level, though not until the hatch at the end of Level 1. It resembles a large, dark figure with glowing eyes and large, glowing red horns. Its long arms reach out in the player’s direction. The Goatman directly pursues players, and will kill them upon contact, making him extremely dangerous. Goatman spawns when either the level’s timer runs out, or the hatch to the saferoom is opened.
You can tell Goatman is coming because of a violent colors change to saturated reds and yellows, and an ominous building noise. The Goatman manifests through the walls, and may come from different directions, not always from behind like Carnation or Slugfish.
How To Survive Goatman
The simplest way to survive a run-in with Goatman is to not run out of time, and manage your hatch opening. Goatman won’t spawn until either the level’s end hatch is open, or the level’s timer is depleted, so reaching the end of the level in time is a big way to avoid it. If playing in a group, also make sure that players don’t pop the hatch until everyone is relatively close to the end. (Unless the timer is extremely low, in which case the Goatman is a potential danger either way.
If both of these measures failed and the Goatman has arrived, there’s one trick you can use as a last ditch option. Equip your flashlight from the hotbar, face the Goatman (if you can catch his approach) and hit M1 to ‘flash’ it with the flashlight. If you got it right, the entity should disappear temporarily, giving you some time to book it for the hatch.
