About The Conception Conch
The Conception Conch is an item with a fairly simple, but very useful function. When you use one, the item transports you directly to your spawn point. If you haven’t set it with an Innkeeper NPC, then you’ll return to Moosewood by default.
This is useful if you find yourself in out of the way places like Vertigo or the Desolate Deep, and don’t want to leave the game to return to your spawn point. Keep in mind with the Desolate Deep, if you do set your spawn down there, you will need to swim out manually, the conch will only take you to your pre-set spawn!
How To Get A Conception Conch
Fortunately, these items tend to show up where they’re most needed. You can find them at the Merchant stalls in Vertigo and the Desolate Pocket. They cost 440C$ each and are single use. There’s also one for sale on the rock at the bottom of the pit in Vertigo, just in case you’re not interested in making the climb back up to the top.
If you’re short of cash, you’ll just have to catch and sell fish until you can afford the conch, which should not take very long. The alternative is leaving the game, or dying, those that will cost you a portion of your money, though if you have next to no money, this could be a viable option.
