Vas Roberts, former CCO of Misfits Gaming Group, has joined French esports organisation Team Vitality as its co-CEO.
Roberts, who made the announcement on LinkedIn, joins Team Vitality’s executive team and will work alongside its co-founders Nicolas Maurer and Fabien Devide.

Vas Roberts has nearly three decades of experience in marketing, sales and partnerships. He previously worked as a Sales Director for Heaven Media before joining FACEIT towards the end of 2015.
Roberts worked with the esports tournament organiser for five years, before switching to Misfits Gaming Group in 2020. After several partnership-focused executive roles, Roberts was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in January 2024.
Founded in 2016, Misfits Gaming was previously an esports organisation that was mainly known for competing in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), the Overwatch League (Florida Mayhem) and Call of Duty League (Florida Mutineers). The company, however, shifted its focus from esports to gaming, media, and culture, selling its franchise slot in the LEC at the end of 2022 and undergoing a major rebrand in 2023.
Team Vitality, on the other hand, has continued to commit to the esports industry as one of the leading European esports organisations. Founded in 2013, the company took headlines when it closed a €50m (~£41.8m) talent-focused funding round by the VC fund rewired.gg in 2022.
The company has an expansive roster of competitive teams, boasting a total of 16 lineups across 13 game titles. This includes the likes of Counter-Strike, League of Legends, VALORANT and Rocket League. The organisation was also a part of the 2024 Esports World Cup Foundation Club Program.
