The Fisch Ancient Megalodon is one of the Megalodon variants… but catching one isn’t as easy as it seems. I’ll talk you through all there is to know!

Catch this creature and play Fisch via Roblox. To find out more about the other Megalodons available, check out our How to Catch All Fisch Megalodon Types guide and Fisch Phantom Megalodon Guide.

Fisch Ancient Megalodon Guide

The Ancient Megalodon can be found lurking in the waters near the Ancient Isles during a Megalodon Hunt event. It is of exotic rarity, making it one of the rarest and toughest to catch. When hooked on your rod, there will be a -80% progress speed decrease, which only adds to the difficulty. However, a cool cutscene does play when you catch one… so it’s worth the trouble! Possibly?

How To Catch One

As I said, you only have the chance to catch these during a Megalodon Hunt event. This has around a 5% chance of spawning every in-game day. To speed up the process, you can use the Fisch Sundial Totem. Just like the Shark Hunt, when this happens, only one player can catch the Megalodon… so make sure you’re quick!

When this event starts, you have a 5-minute window before the Megalodon despawns and disappears…. which only adds to the pressure. The Ancient Megalodon is also rumored to be twice as rare as a regular Megalodon, so count yourself very lucky if you have one.

Ancient Megalodon Preferences

The Ancient Megalodon loves Shark Head as bait, so make sure to equip some to your rod. As for other preferences, it doesn’t matter what the time, weather, or season is in your server, as it all comes down to the hunt happening.

They weigh around 50,000kg on average, so make sure you have a sturdy rod that can hold it. Here are some recommendations:
