Fisch Meg’s Fang Guide
First I’ll go over how to catch one, and then explain what you can do with it.
How To Catch A Meg’s Fang
Meg’s Fang can be found in any waters of the Ancient Isles. However, it is more commonly found in the waterfall there. The coordinates for this are X: 5806, Y: 135.3, Z: 408.5. It is of Mythical rarity, making it on the tricker side to catch. It also has no preferences when it comes to the day, season, weather, time, or bait.
You can increase your chances of catching one by using bait or a rod that has high luck. Meg’s Fang tends to weigh around 1.7kg on average, so you don’t have to worry too much about the rod you are using.
I recommend using the Fungal Rod due to the luck boost it gives you! Upon use, you already get 45% luck, but it also has a passive ability. With this, there is a 70% chance to get an additional luck boost for 45 seconds.
Meg’s Fang Uses
You’ve caught one… now what? Well, that’s up to you to decide. You can either keep it to show off as a token of your hard work or sell it. However, you can also use it to craft the Rod of the Forgotten Fang. If you aren’t sure how to craft, check out the guide linked above.
With this rod, if you do 5 perfect catches in a row, a Megalodon will leap out of the water and give you a higher-tier fish. For more information on this rod, and the stats it has, check out our Fisch Rod Of The Forgotten Fang Guide.
If you want to craft it, here is everything else you need:
- x2 Meg’s Fang
- x2 Meg’s Spine
- x1 Lunar Thread
- 300,000C$
Keep in mind that you need to be Level 750 to use the rod.
