Fisch Kings Rod – Best Late-Game Rod?

With each new meta rod added to the game, the King’s Rod becomes forgotten despite its insane stats and relatively affordable price. This rod was my first big purchase in Fisch and I’ve not looked back since. In this Fisch Kings Rod guide, I introduce you to one of my favourites including obtainment, stats and recommended enchantment.

Check out Fisch on Roblox. After casting your line into the waters, you’ve fished up our Which Merchant Brother Is Blind In Fisch? opinion piece.

Fisch King’s Rod Guide

Found in the Keepers Altar near the fishing pool for 120,000 C$, the King’s Rod is one of the cheaper late-game rods. It’s got well-balanced stats with its only real downside being the -45% Lure Speed, meaning fish evade the line during the shake minigame for longer.

But, this is a small price to pay for its otherwise favourable stats including 55% Luck, 0.15 Control, 35% Resilience and infinite KG weight capacity.

Best Enchant For The King’s Rod

If the delayed Lure Speed is offputting, the best enchant for the King’s Rod goes to Hasty which increases its Lure Speed by +55%.

Alternatively, the Divine Enchant bumps the Luck Boost by +45% to increase rarer catches. The King’s Rod isn’t unlucky, but comparing it to its peers in the late-game it seems lacklustre with only 55% Luck.

Is It The Best Late-Game Rod?

Bias aside, it’s no longer the best late-game rod. However, it’s a good one to purchase and use whilst working towards the new meta late-game rod, The Rod of The Depths.

You’ll want to rely on another late-game rod such as the King’s Rod before jumping for TROTD since it’s expensive costing 750,000 C$ and has high demands including a completed Vertigo Bestiary and both a Hexed Enchant Relic and Abyssal Enchant Relic…
