Stalker 2’s fast travel system is quite limited, but understanding how it works is vital if you want to survive in the deadly environment of Chornobyl.
Fast travel is limited to specific locations, mainly central hubs. These are areas where you can repair items, sell weapons, and gather quests from various characters. At each of these locations there is a fast travel NPC called a Guide.
Once you have visited more than one location, you can speak with a Guide to travel to any previously discovered hubs.
It’s a good idea to make sure you know where all the fast travel locations are, so you can use them to repair and sell items while on the road. Missing a safe haven can quite often be the difference between life and death.
These fast travel locations are listed in the order you can discover them, as you follow the main story. Below the world map is a closer zoomed map of each location for ease of discovery.
All Fast Travel Locations (World Map)
1. Zalissya Fast Travel
Zalissya is the starting town, the first hub players will visit. When you first reach the location, the Guide will not be of use. This is because you have not found another Guide you can travel to yet.
2. Chemical Plant Fast Travel
The Chemical Plant location is more limited than other fast travel points. There is a place to sell items and rest, but no repair location or other facilities
3. Rostok Fast Travel
Rostok is introduced very late in the story, but it’s worth investigating if you are nearby to see if it’s available as there’s a hidden combat arena here.
4. Slag Heap Fast Travel
The story will take you to the Slag Heap before it will take you to Rostok. This is a centralized location, and one you will require to visit many times
5. Shelter Fast Travel
The Shelter is a useful fast travel location for a particular part of the story. After that section is complete, there are few reasons to return as the game progresses.
6.Sultansk Fast Travel
The Sultansk fast travel location is the only one on the far Eastern side of the map. As such, it’s a perfect central hub for exploring and looting the Eastern areas
7. Malachite Fast Travel
The Malachite fast travel location is mostly used during the story, as there are not many nearby areas worth looting.
If we discover any more Stalker 2 Fast Travel locations, we’ll be sure to update the guide.
