Trying to catch a Fisch Barreleye but not having much luck? This guide talks you through where you can find one, which bait to use, and the type of weather it likes.

Cast your line into the world of Fisch and play on Roblox. Struggling to reel in some other creatures? Check out our Fisch Emperor Jellyfish Guide and Fisch Golden Seahorse Guide.

Fisch Barreleye Guide

I’ll start by telling you about this fish and then how to catch one!

What Is A Barreleye?

The Barreleye is a special of fish in Fisch. You can find the Barreleye inside of The Depths. It is of Mythical rarity, and if you manage to hook one onto your rod, there will be a -15% progression speed decrease, making it slightly harder to catch.

How To Catch One

You can catch this creature inside of The Depths, but luckily there are a few additional steps you can take to increase your chances of catching one! Barreleye Fish love Deep Coral bait. You can get this when opening Bait Crates, which you can purchase or fish up.

They also only appear at night during Summer. If it is day in your server and you desperately want to catch one, you have a few options. You can wait until it becomes night (this also gives you some time to catch some of the day fish while you wait). Or, you can use the Sundial Totem to speed up the cycle. You can purchase this for 2,000C$ on Sunstone Island. Another option is to hop into a different server and see if it is night there, but this is time-consuming and it means you need to enter The Depths all over again.

Getting To The Depths

To get to The Depths, you’ll first need to make your way to Vertigo. Once there, you’ll find a large door that you can only open if you have completed the Vertigo bestiary and have obtained the Depths Key.

After the door opens, you will be taken to an obby to complete. Once that is done, you will be in The Depths! Sadly, when you leave, you must obtain another key to get back inside, as it is a one-time use. SO make the most of your time there and get catching!
